A very fine and Sculptural solid brass African Bracelet in Crescent Form dating from the 1960’s and produced by the Ashanti. While the piece may be worn, it also makes a fascinating Sculpture with a surprising Modern Form reminiscent of the works of the great Rumanian artist Constantin Brancusi. The clean lines have a few well placed decorative chop marks and one side of the piece features a central geometric element.
In all original very good condition with a deep brown patina that only age can produce.
