I purchased this painting from an art dealer in Lyon, France, who described it as “mixed media” by a Lyonnaise artist, A. Aunaitre. As you see, the artist initialed the painting and dated it 1969.
It’s large and loud! Great colors, terrific composition, and very amusing subject matter. Fun, fun, fun.
The frame is new, custom-made for the painting.
Measurements: overall including the 1 ¾ inch frame, 24.5 by 32 wide; the artwork itself shows 20 ¾ x 28 ½.
