"Where We Are" is a bright, joyful oil painting by celebrated Artist, Monica Shulman. A 24 inch by 20 inch vivid painting that punctuates her rhythmic, gestural marks with varying shades of purples, pinks, blues and yellows, "Where We Are" will add color to any space. This sculptural painting is inspired by the colors of spring in the lower Hudson Valley where Monica creates in her studio overlooking the Hudson River. This painting is created on a gallery-wrapped canvas that is painted on all four sides.
Monica has been featured in various publications including Popular Photography, Create magazine, and the Huffington Post. In 2019 she was named "Best Artist" in Westchester by Westchester magazine. Her work has been shown at the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City, Photo LA, Art Market Hamptons, PULSE Art Fair, and the New York Mercantile Exchange, among others. less
