Wonderfully glazed, straight sided dish by Gunnar Nylund for Rorstrand, Sweden. The glazing is called "Owl's Feather". It is a cream and light brown colored combination on a heavily textured surface that gives a 3D appearance and actual texture. There is a sunburst pattern to the body. This size vase measures 5.5" in diameter and 1.25" high. The depth is 5/8". It is marked on the bottom with the R and 3 crowns for Rorstrand, GN for Nylund, SWEDEN and What appears to be a number 1.
Excellent condition.
