The Mirror and base rest on the Vanity and are not attached. The pieces are very nice together or separate, the mirror base has feet and can be placed on a dresser or wherever you like. The mirror is in good condition, not yellow or spotted for its age its quite clear. There is one chip on the vanity top at the back corner which is invisible When the vanity is against the wall with The mirror and base are on top. See less
