If you have been … Read more This stunning mid-century set of silver glasses, silver ice bucket, and two decanters is simply beautiful. If you have been looking for a set that Mad Men and Don Draper made popular again, this is it. We have never seen a set that has included decanters, glasses, and an ice bucket -- all comfortably seated in their individual spaces in an elegant case that makes the set easily moved. This silver ombre set with its brilliant silver fade design is a classic example that is likely a creation by Queen's Lusterware (or Lustreware in England). Importantly, some misattribute such silver ombre designs to Dorothy Thorpe, a fine designer from the same era. While she did not use the fade ombre effect, Queen's designer Sidney Sigety did -- with astonishing and coveted results. Queen's Lusterware is a mid-century modern barware essential.

The decanters are 9.25" tall, with a base of 4" by 3.5". The glasses are either 3.25" tall with 3" diameter, or 5.5" tall with 3" diameter. The ice bucket is 5" tall, and 6" diameter. See less
