It does look as though one of the handles has a slight bend in word but we did not want to mess with it in anyway . less

This is the first … more Original Spanish Revival Wooden Block style decorative doors With Hardware. These doors are absolutely amazing !!! This is the first time we have ever seen doors like this surface. They were salvaged out of a multi million dollar estate in the historic Hancock Park area. An original 1920s Spanish home. This home truly captured the era with the true Spanish Revival Style. It contained all of the original architectural elements such as the old early California tiles, the banded iron railings ,the oversized raw beams amazing arched doors, old Spanish lighting, and the ever so rare Spanish hardware. In our 30+ years of salvage we have never ever seen this hardware or the doors surface. We think it is possible that the home could have been built by the famous architect Paul Williams but we are waiting on confirmation of this. There are so many things in this home that led us to believe he was the architect, due to his classic famous style and that of the romantic Revival. There were three sets of the doors Salvaged. They all came out of the main living area downstairs. One set out of the family room which contained the oversized fireplace and the other two sets were in the front room area. We were able to salvage most of the items from the home all of which are being auctioned separate. We are thankful to have been able to save the items that have been preserved in time almost 100 years. It is architectural items such as this, that were used to capture the ever so rare Spanish Revival also known as Romantic Revival design. The best part about these doors is the hardware. This is very rare and could very well have been custom-made for this estate. It does look as though one of the handles has a slight bend in word but we did not want to mess with it in anyway . There was other hardware throughout the entire house all of which was also salvaged and being auctioned separate. Amazing window latches and door handles and slide bolts . less
