Night Skies~Midnight Blue Boucherouite Rug
Fine yarns are used to create this shag rug.
Awesome all seeing eye design. We call this one Night Skies as it is midnight blue with multicolored stars and concentric lozenge designs. If you've ever seen the skies on a clear night you may notice the stars emanating a range of colors in the deep indigo blue blackness of space.
Diamonds frame the pleasingly pink border. Diamond shaped lozenges occupy the central field, each one vying for your attention. One end is fringed. This is a tribal piece from the middle Atlas region in Morocco. Our buyer rides his motorbike up the mountains to deal directly with the Berber tribal woman wearers.
We are so excited to offer this awesome rug!
This is the only one I have owned that was all string rather than strips of fabric (rag rug). The reverse shows a tight woven rag foundation of black and white weft and warp and the tufted design emerges in cotton twisted threads. It measures 37 wide by 80 inches in length, not including the fringe end which is about 6 inches long and includes a mix of twisted yarns. Soft on your feet. This rug is surprisingly heavy and will lay flat on its own but can use an anti-slip pad when placed on a hardwood floor.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations
