Attracting our eye with its nice polychromy, this Ming statuette features a court official standing proudly on a square base. Topped with a headdress and clothed in a long robe, he is raising his left arm with his fist closed while his right arm is simply resting along his side. With his green glaze and nicely weathered patina, this Ming 15th or 16th century Chinese official statuette will make for an exquisite decorative addition to any home, whether placed on a commode, side table or on a shelf.
