Attracting our eye with its weathered appearance and subtle polychromy, this Ming statuette features a courtsman resting on an hexagonal base. Topped with a headdress and clothed in a long robe, he is showcasing a slight movement of the hips creating a lively effect. His right arm extended while his left one is hidden under the clothes, this Chinese courtsman will make for an exquisite decorative addition to any home, whether placed on a commode, side table or on a shelf.
