Found in a Thai temple, this ceremonial kneeling monk is a rare object. Boasting a superb contrast of colors between his dark skin and the golden and brown tones of his clothes, the monk is kneeling down, his legs elegantly placed to his right. His robe, covering one of his shoulders only, is falling beautifully in the back, creating cascading folds. His hands are joined in the front in a prayerful attitude and his serene traits reveal an inspiring inner peace. See less
