Postmodern Memphis Style Decorative Tea Pot and Tea Cup Set. This set is one of Madeline's earlier clay works from the first half of the 1990's . The matte glaze is fired on. This piece defines the 1990's to a tea:) I also have another larger tea pot that match this pattern. So much fun!!!!!
Madeline Kaczmarczyk was a professional potter before joining the faculty at Aquinas College in the Ceramics Dept. in 1999. Her personal work incorporates wheel throwing and hand building with an interest in combining materials and technology with clay. She has exhibited at the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery, the American Craft Museum in NYC, as well as national juried art fairs and galleries.
Large Tea pot is 10.25” wide, 7.35” deep 13.75” tall
Tea cups are7” wide, 2.5” deep, 4” tall less
