There is something both delicate and robust about this basket that has always had me regard it as a piece that has always been cherished. While my late-Mother never used it for its intended purpose, it was indeed cherished with pride of place. It measures 8 3/4" in Diameter at handles and 6 1/2" in Diameter at base and is 11" in Height at top of handle. The color is much more oxblood than true brown as described infra. less
