Early 20th Century vintage luggage made of thick brown hide leather with engraved lettering. A wonderful decorating item, can be used as a coffee table or game table, as a decorative item for your home next to a cozy fireplace. It is in a good vintage condition with tear and wear throughout, one latch does not lock. Original Interior with fabric lining. This luggage was purchased at a liquidation sale at the famous New York department store Altman and Company in 1989. Altman shut its door that year and liquidated all its assets including furniture and decor and this vintage luggage was part of the Polo Ralph Lauren windows shop display. This luggage is obviously to be used as a decorative item in the house. For vintage conditions please refer to pictures.
