This is a matted mid-century 1978 advertising print for Eau Sauvage men's products by Christian Dior. This vintage print originally appeared in a French magazine; it is NOT a recent reproduction. Illustrated by Rene Gruau, it has classic Gruau design elements of strong graphic styling and imagery. It is signed by Gruau with his recognizable “g” initial. It advertises men's toiletries: pre-shave, after-shave, talcs, cremes as well as soaps under the Dior Eau Sauvage label. This image is one of the rare images of this genre with its touch of coloring in the tousled hair. Excellent clean condition. 8.75 x 12 inches is size. Comes custom matted in a white 16 x 20 inch custom mat that works in a standard size frame. Please allow time for custom matting. See less
