Original, signed, pen and ink on paper drawing of the Monastery outside of Milan, Italy called La Certosa di Garegnano. The paper is attached to a board. It is signed in the lower right corner, but not sure what the name is exactly. In its original heavy vintage frame which has been refinished to a very rich, dark, almost black but with the warm wood showing through. The frame has a very low-sheen finish. The glass is the soft, non-glare, type. There is a bit of staining on the linen surround, but it adds to the warm patina of the piece.
The artwork itself is 12"X16". The frame is 20.5" wide X 24.5 tall and 1.25" thick. less
