Sale includes dining table with one leaf, 4 side chairs and 2 arm chairs as pictured. Bibbiano is a famed hilltop estate near the Tuscan city of Siena. The region’s reverence for hand craftsmanship can be seen in the mix of materials on the Bibbiano Trestle Dining Table. The decorative top blends olive ash burl, rustic pecan and a thin stripe of zebrawood inlay. Supporting the top are two deeply carved, scrolled wood pedestals connected by a unique burnished antiqued metal stretcher.
Romanesque carving, inlay and intricate detailing emblazon the façade of the Tuscan cathedral of San Martino. The San Martino Arm (shown) and Side Chairs are distinguished by equally impressive details—decorative beading, carved chair rails and domed cabriole front legs with unique trifed feet.
