Original vintage New Yorker magazine cover from March 16, 1981 featuring a New England Architecture theme. Based on an illustration by the native New England painter Gretchen Dow Simpson (b. 1939) who completed over 60 covers for The New Yorker, many focusing on exterior or interior architectural views.
This is an original magazine cover in excellent condition. Cover is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and includes a certificate with additional information and a brief history of New Yorker covers.
