Exquisitely crafted in the mid-19th century, of very fine quality, multiple silver plate finish, exceptionally executed in high Victorian style, the highly decorated, richly detailed lidded carafe features a substantial liner, fanciful etched fiolate and geometric design to the sides, figural spout, ornate scroll accented shaped handles, topped with a boy atop grapes holding a wine glass in a toast position, resting on circular foot with richly detailed ornamentation in relief.

Accompanied with the original matched serving stand, fitted, allowing the carafe to easily tilt and pour, having a tall gently curved handle with sculptural stylized stork birds to each side, an open circular base with matching ornamentation, and a smaller circular platform for cup placement when pouring.

Signed, "Amelia" "From the Club" under the spout.
