Born in 1902 Italy, Marchergiani moved to the United States when he was 23 years old when he was commissioned to paint murals and frescoes at St Joseph Roman Catholic Cathedral in Jose California. He returned to Italy for a couple of years in the late 1920’s, returning to continue working at St Joseph’s and other Mission Churches in Northern California.
Presented in natural wood frame with 1” linen liner.
