Its an ironstone pitcher that once accompanied a wash basin, manufactured by Admiral VP Company in the 1800s. It still has the company mark clearly visible. The upper edge and handle are elegantly scalloped. It measures 8" high and is 5" in diameter, 7" wide with the handle. The glaze has some some peppering and the gold along the upper edge has mostly faded, the gold band around the middle and base have almost no fading. These imperfections would be consistent with its age. The ironstone itself has NO chips or cracks and is in excellent condition. See less
