The fine quality example surmounted by a large carved figural eagle crest, richly detailed, sculptural form, head protruding out and turned, wings spread, claws perched atop bar overlooking architectural circular frame garnished with applied ball form accents, foliate trim rising over mirror, having professional restoration in the early/mid 20th century by the prominent Herman F. Strauff, Period Mirrors, Baltimore, Maryland, where it was regilded bronze-gold painted finish, updated, replaced with later mirrored glass, retaining restoration work label to verso.

An impressive statement piece that exudes a regal, luxurious presence.
