Note the composition and detail of the illustration, The "Shadow" under the butterfly, the brass rim has a lip.
My best assessment is that there are different productions of these Fornasetti pieces. This being an earlier, period example with more of the original artistic intent of Piero Fornasetti.
Note this example is not in perfect condition. Along one side there is some damage as shown. Looks to have had a impact to that side causing some paint loss and cracking to the paint. Seems to be stabile. I did color match the paint and touch up a couple areas where this happened. Also there are areas where there is a smudge-like mark. I'm not certain what these are or if they will come off with restoration. I did attempt to use soap and water on.a couple spots, but that was all.
