From an exhibit at the Villa Ruggiero in Salerno: The most unique Neapolitan ceramic production of the twentieth century is amply illustrated, which began with the establishment of a company between the sculptor Antonio De Val, the engineer Paolo Marone and the patron artist Giuseppina De Feo. The activity of the "La ceramica di Posillipo" factory lasted a decade, from 1937 to 1947; among the most important achievements, we remember the contract for the majolica decoration of the new buildings of the Triennale d'Oltremare. Among the works on display are the panels and tiles by Edoardo Giordano and the sculpture by De Val Cocomeraia, which arrived in the Province through the acquisition of the Camponi collection. less
