Description: Presenting a lovely piece of reproduction Native American antiquity, namely, a vintage Pre-Columbian style pottery centerpiece.

From circa early 20th … more Presenting a lovely piece of reproduction Native American antiquity, namely, a vintage Pre-Columbian style pottery centerpiece.

From circa early 20th century and probably made in Mexico.

The centerpiece is very Mayan in form and shape with 4 seated Mayan Warriors or Priests sitting in a circle holding a central bowl for making offerings to the gods. Each warrior or priest has a highly decorated square headdress with sunbeam decoration.

In great condition for it’s age. Was obviously used to hold a candle at some stage with evidence of wax in the bowl. less
