Early 19th C (George III) Bloor Derby coffee can porcelain cup in the Imari,Tree Of Life pattern done in London by Royal Crown Derby at their Nottingham Road factory. The handle form is called "wishbone" or "Dresden". Pattern features a beautifully detailed hand-painted Imari decoration with Tree of Life motif. Metallic gold edges the rim and defines the blue and red shapes in the pattern. A finely detailed frieze in similar design runs around the inside of the rim. Gilt bands inside the rims and acanthus leaf detail to the handle. Perfect for your espresso morning or evening.
The can is marked on the underside with a red crown, crossed batons a "D" all hand painted in red within the period when Robert Bloor was the head of the works; in these cases roughly around 1820. Pattern 38 mark as well.
