This is a pair of metal bust sculptures by the German artist Franz Iffland (1862–1935). These lovely seasonal maidens are both in their corsets and ornate hats ready for sport. The word "L'Hiver" is embossed on the front torso of one bust and "L'ete" embossed on the right front of the other. So, one bust represent Winter titled "L'Hiver," and her ribbon is decorated with stylized ice skates. The other bust is depicting Summer "L'ete," and her ribbon is decorated with a tennis racket. Both statues are signed "F. Iffland" on the back on the women's torso. They are about 13" high, 8" wide and 5" deep.
