Contemporary Photography "Van Damme" by Douglas Condzo
I met Samson, better known as Van Damme, he was riding a motorcycle through the streets of Maputo, his style caught my attention, military style clothes and a beret. I approached him, and I Complimented him on his style and asked him to take some pictures, which he fortunately accepted. During the photo session, as we chatted, he expressed his tremendous admiration for martial arts and his admiration for actor Van Damme, that culminated into him attending a martial arts academy.
This interaction made me realize that sometimes idols can mold us into better humans that go on to inspire others.
