A sky dragon chases a large Yin/Yang pearl of wisdom amid incised clouds, flames and meandering vines, above a band of stylized ocean waves at the foot, all in a low relief, gloss black glaze. The underlying, unglazed, porcelain surface is heavily etched in tight random swirls, giving the vase a subtle interesting texture. Black glazed lip and foot. Circa mid century. less
