L'Affichiste considers itself privileged and honored to be able to offer posters which were designed in conjunction with exhibitions held at the Universite du Quebec a Montreal (UQAM) under the leadership of Marc Choko, a professor at the University (and until recently the director of its graphic design department), and a noted author of many books on posters, poster design, and poster history. As director of the Design Center affiliated with UQAM, Marc Choko revived the tradition of designing a poster for each exhibition, thus allowing many graduates of the School of Design to make their debut on the professional scene. The posters we offer here are not available anywhere else, and they come from the archives of M. Choko.

This poster was designed by Tomasz Walenta for the exhibition, held in 2005 at the Centre de design de l'UQAM. Walenta is a well known and successful contemporary Polish-Canadian artist, cartoonist, and illustrator.
