The KNIGHT has … more Extremely RARE Battersea Bilston, enamel on copper, figural Mustard Pot in the form of a Medieval Knight. The KNIGHT has Dark Blue Armour with a Burgundy Plume. The hand painted decoration on one side of the base is a Shield with a Sun, Flags, Drum, Cannon and Cannon Balls. The opposite side is decorated with a Floral Spray in bright vibrant colors on a white background. Raised gilded decoration. Lions mask above the three feet.
There is an opening in the back for the mustard spoon. Lift off top with the original fancy gilded bronze mounts.
Very good condition, just some minor damage to the enamel to the inside lid, probably due to a spoon. However not visible from the outside. One foot slightly bent with a small amount of enamel loss on the inside. All pictured.
