A stunning chest of drawers handmade in Tuscany from old hardwood flooring. I do not know the type of wood - perhaps walnut? Perfectly imperfect! Truly! I have owned this for over 20 years and have never seen another one like it. I'm sure there are others out there but I haven't found one - yet!
All of the drawers open and close easily with no sticking.
I'm not sure when it was made. If I were to offer up a guestimate, I would say sometime in the last 50 years. I purchased it from an estate sale in Montecito, California.
