NOTE:
Our condition descriptions are based on the fact that ALL of our vintage, archaic and Vintage pieces are NOT new and ALL have some level of honest patina.
An excellent or pristine piece will still have some degree of honest patina, even if extremely minor.
There are few if any prefect condition Antiques or vintage pieces in our gallery as most have been used in the motion picture and associated industries. We will sometimes use the word “pristine” for some of our excellent condition pieces but these will still have some extremely minor degree of patina.
If 100% cosmetic perfection is a concern, please talk to our curator prior to making a purchase.
NOTE:
In the interest of Vintage presentation and historical accuracy, we do not alter or modify our electrical, optical, mechanical or electronic Antiques, with the exception of some vintage light fixtures (which we DO correctly convert internally to modern electrical working household standards). Therefore some electrical and mechanical items MAY or may not perform and operate. We sell these as accurate display and collectible Vintage items. We suggest that these artifacts be used for display and not be operated. Please ask for more details on operability of our electrical and mechanical Antiques if operability is a concern. Chairish sells electronic items only with the display as the intended use. The electronic elements are not guaranteed to be in working order by Chairish.
