The background of this vase in gold gilt is stunning with the variety of bright, colorful flowers. It is a vintage Chinese export made sometime between 1930 and 1950. The handles and buds are applied to this tianqiuping, globular vase, with its polychrome glaze and parcel gilt.
The vase has been part of a personal collection.
The elongated neck is decorated with applied root-form handles and buds, the body with vivid foliate decoration overall, the underside marked MADE IN CHINA with characters.
10 inches high and is in excellent condition.
