A nickel-plated steel cocktail table with a 42” beveled-edge glass top in the style of Warren Platner, a prize-winning architect and designer of a collection of chairs, tables and ottomans resting on a sculptural base of nickel-plated steel rods resembling a shiny sheaf of wheat. Platner was inducted into Interior Design Magazine’s hall of fame in 1985. It may be heresy among true acolytes to observe that the execution and silhouette of this table is far more graceful than Platner’s timeless design. Perish the thought but this table is absolutely stunning.
