Rare stunning vintage First Edition Avant-Garde offset lithograph of painting "The Princess of Cleves" (1941) by French artist Marie Laurencin (1883-1956). Comes from a rare First Limited and Only Edition art folio, published by Editions du Chene in Paris, France, in 1951. Edition N 307. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found in French by lifting the piece. Detailed. Rich colors. Excellent condition - some edge wear on the board, never framed.
