A finely drawn and conceived construction of linear patterns and organic shapes to produce a dense and spacial view of tangled thatch of grasses. Etching on fine artist bond paper and matted in a calm architectural wooden molding with a soft gesso finish. Signed Hilare and dedication in french language, to the lower right corner out of the image. No date, but datable to mid 20th century. A very fine and handsome artwork. The Sizes are 19.75" by 21.75". The image is 13.75" by 12".
The condition is age-appropriate, slightly yellowed at the lower edge. Under glass.
