Below the slant is a pair of half-width drawers over … more A Mid 19th century Swedish painted slant-front desk or secretary. Below the slant is a pair of half-width drawers over two full-width drawers. With the slant down, you have access to seven drawers and three cubbies. This area still retains some of the traditional blue paint. There is one key for locking the desk. Since more of us are working from home, this desk would be a perfect alternative to a traditional desk. The scroll detail on the bottom front is fantastic. There is slight separation of the wood on the back edge which is noted. There has been restoration on the bottom back to make the piece level. Wear is consistent with age. less
