Deep in the winter woods in New England, getting away from everything and pausing with a campfire lunch. A time for contemplation and re-centering oneself. There's a much larger (80" x 108") earlier version here in my shop.
This is painted on a 1/2 inch thick wood panel with professional grade acrylics, 16" high by 24" wide. It has a thin wood frame, is wired and ready to hang.
About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. (Steve and Anne's daughter, Tess Remick, is on Chairish too.) Steve's paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad.
