Second Skin is the fist serie of Miguel Vallinas' surreal images that reconsider the human form. Second Skin explores the concept of identity and personal choice with a connection with different animals.
An assortment of animals, ranging from ducks, bears, birds, dogs and cats became humans mixing their personalities.
"Second Skin Number 41" 2017 features a dog's head floating above a figure dressed in a red and blue flannel with a beige pencil skirt.
With this series Vallinas' intends to prompt viewers to reflect on who they think they are, what they want to be, and what they truly are.
