It originally was the cover art for a French fashion magazine that dates to 1931. Magazine cover art is highly collectible and had has become difficult to find in good condtition with the passage of time as it is highly susceptible to rips, stains and discoloration. This one is in superb condition with strong color and wonderful Art Deco styling. The geometric, angular elements are indicative of the period. 6.25 x 8.5 inches in size; comes matted in a neutral tone 16 x 20 inch custom mat ready for a standard size frame.
