This is the original piece that was part of the film set of Empire (Fox, Hulu). You can view it yourself in Season 2 E1 and scrub to 23mins. Boss lady Cookie Lyon flicks through a magazine as she placates and berates her wayward son Hakeem. The upholstery fabric is plush brown velvet base and the cushions have a satin sheen in mustard, slate, and oat colors. No makers mark evident. A super conversation piece.
