This placard once belonged to the legendary socialite, Eva Gabor.
The placard is plastic with plaster lettering. Not only is it a fine example of Deco Revival, but is also a piece of Hollywood memorabilia.
The placard is double sided. One side is in good condition, and the other has signs of wear. We believe that the more worn side was once against a door, and that the letters fell apart over years of knocking against the door. There is also one missing piece along the top right hook.
This placard was purchased from Eva Gabor’s Beverly Hills home during an estate sale.
It is approximately 18 x 8 inches less
