The solid 2" thick piece of marble has a a highly decorative finished edge and is in shades of green with accents of rust and tan and is original to the piece. The two painted medallions on the doors are finely detailed with a crackly background and finished with a gold rim. The solid wood body has hand carving on the doors as well as the entire leg, please see photos for the details. The complex veneers that adorn the entire piece is second to none in design and craftsmanship. Inside is one removable shelf. The front width is 43". There is also the original key and the lock is functional. The marble is removable. See less
