Measures 11 x 14 and has been professionally framed in a natural maple wood frame.
I drive by this vacant lot every day, this tree catches my eye at every time of year. I happened to have time one day, stopped and painted it and within just a couple days the blossoms were gone. Seize the day!
Plein Air painting is painting done on site. It tends to be very fresh and should give a sense of the light and color, should be a strong impact without many details. I use archival painting practices, make my own gesso and use the best paints. less
