Rare and beautiful Art deco figure of an accordion player, glazed in vibrant blue, orange and yellow color, designed Etha Lempke ca.1935
There is published book on the subject called – “ Goudse Plastieken” About many of the figurines by the in house sculptors they used, including Eta Lempke. It has a clear factory mark in green under the base (see picture) and also raised Monogram EL on the rear of the base standing for Etha Lempke. It stands 8.2 inches high and the base is 3.75 inches wide. It is in great condition and has 2 small chips on the base but they do not detract from the beauty of a rare decorative figure.
