C.1990's; Original Barbara Barry Designs "Cambria," arm chairs for McGure Furniture, a represented line within the auspices of Baker Furniture Co., a "To the Trade," Showroom, are these set of four leather-strapped rattan arm/dining chairs, in a tobacco color finish, with multi-colored jewel-toned textile, also a Baker Furniture Textile, with double, self-welted details throughout. Semi-Cathedral vaulted or arched seat backs, accentuate the highback dimensional aspects of these well-preserved and maintained Rattan chairs, as well as the defined and detailed x-mitered stretcher's to each chair The seat back rest has a channel-tufted, and stitched detail, in quarters, topped off with a center button tufted detail. right seat back and seat, enable one when sitting in reposes, a sense of stable and structural support given to be used in dinging, luncheon/brunch, solarium use, or for every day chairs in given family room environments, etc. Plastic foot bumpers, are imbedded into the feet during frames construction, to protect the legs/feet. They are synonymous, part and partial to the thoroughness of the design elements and structural fabrication of ALL McGuire pieces, whereupon attention to detail and quality are uniformed into the mindset of the McGuire mantra and mindset, which goes to the follower's, and the knowledge of the above aforementioned. The maker's markings brass plate is on the underside inside of seat frame, as last image and 2nd. tot he lost image, (Close-up), showcases on each chair. In addition there is the original manufacturer's factory tag on the underside, stating as such. Well kept and maintained, with minute of any wear whatsoever.
