Carefully hand painted in an all-around continuous scene depicting a procession of scholars and dignitaries carrying objects of offering such as precious red coral and large seashells.
Crisp colours on white porcelain with an unusually detailed fine black and white shoulder border.
The underside has a reign mark in red together with "CHINA" stamped in red. Also has red oval guild/association marks painted within the scene.
Age: Circa 1930.
Acquired from a collector of Chinese porcelains who has amassed such over the last 40 years.
