An elegantly designed early 19th Century New England wrought iron, wire and brass fireplace fender with a scalloped draped single vertical across the top and brass trim, finials and bun feet.

This was sourced from J. Gallagher Antiques of North Norwich, New York, a purveyor of 18th and 19th century fireplace equipment. For nearly half a century, J. Gallagher has provided authentic period fireplace fittings for museums and historic restorations, including the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site.
