From the home of the legendary businessman, T. Boone Pickens, we are proud to present this one-of-a-kind rustic European antique Provincial cherry wood tray top table with beautifully aged dark warm patina.
Crafted in the late 19th century from earlier elements, featuring an old cherry work table base married to an early planked cherry farm tray.
Having a rectangular three board plank top with rich worn patina framed by raised undulating scalloped gallery with cutout handle at either end, mounted atop a strong, sturdy, simple base with clean lines, high-quality pegged mortise tenoned joints, rising on four splayed legs.
Wabi-sabi patina perfection! It's easy to find beauty in this table's imperfections! Elegantly sophisticated yet comfortable, unpretentious and unique, full of rich antique character, rustic charm and elegant warmth.

J. Garrett Auctioneers, Dallas, Texas, had the pleasure of presenting this item from the iconic Texas and Oklahoma oil tycoon, T. Boone Pickens' Dallas home.
The breadth of T. Boone Pickens' career is impressive. He built one of the largest independent natural gas oil companies in the United States and flourished as an entrepreneur thereafter, generating hundreds of billions of dollars in the process. Among his lengthy accolades, Time magazine has identified him one of its "100 Most Influential People", Financial World named him "CEO of the Decade" in 1989, and Oil and Gas Investor identified him as one of the "100 Most Influential People of the Petroleum Century." less
